A subject relationship may be used to express that a particular person, event, work, or instance of any other entity is the subject of the cinematographic work.

The HasAsSubject relationship is distinct from the [[EN 15907 HasContent|HasContent]] relationship in that it associates the cinematographic work with an identifiable instance of an entity, while HasContent relates it to an instance of a dependent element.
