Definition from the standard
A word or phrase denoting the relationship between the manifestation and the variant or cinematographic work that it manifests. May be omitted if no other manifestation is known. An unknown relationship should be indicated by a value of "unknown". Values for this attribute should be taken from a controlled vocabulary. A value of "original" shall indicate that all statements made in elements such as Format, Title or Language may be regarded as statements about an "original work", if such a concept is required. |
